The 1st "Marching into Shanghai-Nanjing " was a great success - the cheers, laughter, applause and astonished expression reflect the satisfaction of the 24 adolescent participants towards the tour content - the scientific and technological enterprise visit; tech driven acrobatic show; attractions such as the Shanghai landmark Pearl TV Tower; the Huangpu River that tenderly embracing the Bund; historical spots (Dr Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and the Presidential Palace) and DIY folk handicrafts.
The only drawbacks probably is that
1) the authentic Shanghainese food in Shanghai is not “Hong Kong style" enough to cope with the appetite of our young participants! and
2) the unexpected cancellation of middle school visit that luckily ends up a visit to a water village sitting on the delta district of the Pu River!
